Stephanie Legatos
Career Counselor & Coach / Certified Professional Résumé Writer
Essential Colors™ Color & Wardrobe Analyst
Trainer / Instructional Designer
I enjoy helping people discover, honor, strengthen, and integrate their authenticity to support their vision and goals. This is true in career coaching, résumé development, interview coaching, color & wardrobe consulting, and training. When we know who we are – and become increasingly comfortable with who we are – we have the best foundation for creating success. As a catalyst for positive change, my work is a blend of visionary, creative, and practical approaches.
I’ve been told that my greatest strengths are my “possibility thinking” – generating myriad perspectives and solutions; a natural talent for seeing themes and patterns – and synthesizing information to create focus and direction; and, encouraging people to take gentle steps out of their comfort zone to their edge, building confidence and skills.

As a Career Coach:
Throughout my life I recognized a natural ability to listen for people’s core desires and dreams, and coach them to find and create more satisfying careers and lives. My clients consistently say that I bring resourcefulness; a belief in people’s strengths, resilience, and ability to change; and, new and refreshing perspectives to the career challenges and situations they face. Clients span diverse ages, educational and economic backgrounds, industries, occupations, and roles. Recent clients include employed and unemployed marketing and senior sales professionals in pharma/healthcare/financial services, event planners, nonprofit program managers, administrative assistants, teachers, managers in food/catering operations, social workers, nurses, editors, graphic designers, artists, and business owners.
As a Color and Wardrobe Analyst:
People feel happy, confident, and inspired after a color analysis and/or wardrobe consult! I work with women of all shapes, sizes, and ages, identifying the colors that are most flattering for you, and coaching you to create and wear a wardrobe that communicates your authentic image and style. Clients consistently applaud my skills in conveying information in supportive and motivating ways, explaining concepts, and capitalizing on their strengths to build confidence and self-esteem.
As a Trainer and Instructional Designer:
My work is three-fold: (1) presenting workshops on a variety of topics; (2) coaching trainers and instructional designers / train-the-trainer programs; (3) instructional design consulting. Workshop participants consistently note my engaging, creative, organized, and focused style. I balance the structure of an agenda and timeframe with openness and flexibility to respond to emerging participant needs. I love the instructional design process – making information engaging, accessible, and relevant through hands-on activities. Working from a foundation of learning styles theory and adult learning principles, I create from scratch or revise existing curricula.
